  1. It seems that people have created such a file format in order to make it difficult for others to do more than sense its contents on a screen or on paper.
In the meanwhile, some people have created software that lets one choose who is going to sense which data sets on a screen, without creating copies like .pdf files. This lets data managers control data better, e.g. because they can make their data more difficult to print.
1.1 We can help you manage some data sets this way and enjoy a higher benefit-cost ratio related to data management.
1.2 We agree to use .pdf files when:
    a. they are the best means of using a data set in a certain context.
    b. you place an order with us and share with us .pdf files meant to help us fill your order.
1.3 When someone wants us to buy something from them, we ignore their .pdf files.
Some salespeople still do this: They attach files to e-mail messages. We don’t even intend to read such messages, let alone open such files.

  2. What if I want to sign a document?
2.1 We help people use software that includes this feature and is more helpful than a .pdf viewer.
2.2 We help people identify one another over the Internet in order to conclude agreements, etc.

  3. What about forms?

For what purposes are you storing data in this format?
