Question

I have Msi GF66 12 UC, and in extras tab fan modes are greyed out. Why is that? Maybe I can help to implement it for my laptop?

You need to enable advanced options:

  1. Launch the YAMDCC config editor.
  2. Click Options > Show advanced settings.
  3. Read and accept the warning.
  4. The fan mode should now be adjustable.

If that didn't work, let me know.

EDIT: if you did the above steps and the fan mode is still greyed-out, your config might be out of date. Download a fresh config from this folder then try again.

EDIT 2: typo fix
