The latest version in git tag is 0.1.7
But the latest version in npm is 0.1.6
Maybe should update the npm version

FYI, using this in your dependencies section of the package.json file should solve your issues in the short-term:
"leaflet-mapbox-vector-tile": "https://github.com/SpatialServer/Leaflet.MapboxVectorTile.git",
