Google is blocking Stellarium use for my school district due to an expired license issue.

Stellarium (desktop) is open-source software under GPLv2. What kind of license has expired? Who licensed what?

the HTTPS is out of date. That is the Google internet provider can not verify that the website- while opensource- can provide a secure connection. This is the answer from our IT department. You mean some certificate has expired? I cannot reproduce that on https://stellarium.org or https://stellarium-web.org. And you can always download the desktop version to run the program offline. Just download from our main site, https://stellarium.org, not some "free download sites" that add "safe installation wrappers" with adware or any other nonsense.

More specifically, the https is out-of-date. Our Google provider is blocking the website, not our IT, because they can not guarantee the site is secure.
