Add setting to MiBand screen of xDrip+ to disable screen dimming during sync?

I'm using xDrip with a Pixel 4A and a Mi Band 4 watch. Within the default MiBand settings of xDrip+, please can we have an option to disable this dimming behaviour, because it seems to very problematic.

I understand that this 'dimming during sync' was added to save battery life(?), but for me it just means that I'm having to repeatedly turn up the brightness to a visible level throughout the day. About 50 to 75% of the time I find that the MiBand isn't returning to a visible brightness level (especially when I'm outside), so I'd like to be able to disable this 'dimming during sync'. I am not using any 'night mode' settings that might potentially be causing this issue.
