Error out and cause ui to redirect to the login page #746

In some cases the gateway should error out or error out in a specific way so that the gateway directs users to log in. But it does not.

For example:

open a session in a tab
shut down your computer and come back later.
the session is still running but you were logged out
then you only get a 404 session not found or something, but we should send the user to the login page and then back to the session
