Thank you for the fantastic guide and scripts. I just wanted to comment with a new adjustment I have had to make due to the very recent addition of roaming signatures to Outlook - you now can't set "local signatures" as the default for new emails or reply/forward.

I have just added the user's email address in parentheses at the end of the signature name to trick it into thinking it's a roaming signature - so having grabbed the logged in user's UPN under a $upn variable (assuming your UPNs also match your email addresses!) I've used $signatureFileName = "Contoso ($upn).htm"

Thanks again!

Hope the script author(s) don't mind me responding.

@athirachandran267 We've done this by converting our images to base64 using a tool like this https://www.base64-image.de/ and then inserting them in the signature HTML with this variation on img src: https://www.w3docs.com/snippets/html/how-to-display-base64-images-in-html.html

Intune limits the size of the PowerShell script you can upload, so to keep the image chunk small, it helps to make sure the image optimise setting is enabled if you do use that specific tool, and JPEGs are generally smaller file sizes than PNG. Good luck!

Hi,
Thanks for the amazing script. But when I change the user attributes its not reflecting in the email signature. How can we make it possible?
