Useful topic - but can I ask a follow up. Our requirement is to upgrade a very old MMA version with the latest one. Of course, we could uninstall the previous version via Intune - but it seems that the Registry detection rule is only for brand new installs, and wouldn't work if we were just upgrading the client. Should we be doing the uninstall first?

I should also add that the old version was installed as an MSI Line Of Business app, not a Windows app as above
