Connect via AccessToken

Hi,
I have an application (VSCode) that generates an AAD Access Token to work with the Power BI REST APIs. That token technically also works in combination with AMO libraries using the AccessToken property of AdomdConnection (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.analysisservices.adomdclient.adomdconnection.accesstoken?view=analysisservices-dotnet#microsoft-analysisservices-adomdclient-adomdconnection-accesstoken)

however, I would need to pass the AccessToken as part of the connection string as (partially) described here where it suggests using the connection string property password for the token:

however, i cannot get this to work?
has anyone ever done this or could confirm whether this is supported or not?

ok, it turned out that Password=<token> actually works.
The issue i had was that the token was created with /.default or user_impersonation scope which is not supported by XMLA/AMO
so if you have your own AAD application with Dataset.ReadWrite.All and Workspace.Read.All the token should work!
