Proposal: when producing PDFs, the \TeX macro should produce tagged content such as follows: /T <</Alt (\376\377\000t\000e\000c\000h) /ActualText (TeX)>> BDC ... EMC
This way
supports Copy/Paste to give the textual form: TeX
derives to HTML with this textual form: TeX
speaks with TeX as in 'technical' rather than as in 'Texas'.
