[BUG]: Android progress bar in notification bar hidden on HLS streams #4360

What happened?

When the video player is consuming a streaming video (HLS, m3u8 such as the red bull stream in the example), the notification lacks the previous behavior seen in at least 3.5.0 where the progress bar indicator was shown and the progress would be shown.

Now what I see on the notification is just an empty progress bar or no progress bar at all.

Reproduction

Step to reproduce this bug are:
0. Follow the steps to run the bare example project

  1. Navigate to an HLS stream
  2. Pull down notifications
  3. Observe notification without progress bar on Pixels, Observe notification with empty progress bar (with no indicator) on Samsungs and OnePlus phones
