Add some text like "if some preconditions don't have a green checkmark, please install the corresponding software first." If all prerequisites are met it's not clear if the green check marks are just eye candy, or if the installer really checked to make sure everything is installed.

I say we provide a corresponding Red X, and include an errors box that only shows if not everything checks out.

Something like. "Oops! It looks like you're missing some important software. Please install everything marked with a red X before continuing."

Edit: Okay, seems like you already do the red X's? Still, I think a warning-type box should show. Maybe only have the page show if the pre-conditions aren't met. Having it show otherwise seems like it's just an extra page.

In other words:

Internal Check: Is everything Okay?
        Yes ---->silently skip page
        No -----> display page showing what is missing.
