First, when the bot is the caller and his p doesn't trump in on the first trick, or lead trump if the bot/caller is in the third chair, the bot now knows his p his void. This means the bot caller has to be leading trump to force his opponents to dump theirs on the same trick(s), even if he loses both those tricks because if he doesn't, he's going to lose the offsuit in a crossfire.
