From Buckeye Slim: Euchre: When the bot has called it and has to take the last two tricks to reach three, it has to lead its highest trump. If higher trump is out against it, it's getting euched no matter what, and if not, then that's how to scoop defending trump to make the lower trump good for the last trick.

Instead, the bots keep leading either the lower trump or offsuit. That's exactly how not to do it, and it's tiring to keep getting euched when the bot makes yet another thin call because it doesn't include position or next/across in deciding when to call trump and then plays poorly to make it even worse.
