I love the amount of new and exciting extensions coming to the gallery but often find myself struggling to remember which extension has the block I'm looking for (especially for niche blocks that are in some of the utility extensions). Going forward at this pace, it's crucial to implement some sort of search feature to filter through them.

That doesn't search blocks.

It only searches when the search addon is enabled, and yes, it doesn't fix the issue. OP said about searching blocks in categories (I think so).

not for blocks though. it only searches metadata

that only searches extensions you've already added. i think this person is asking for a way to search the entire gallery for blocks
