Not many linters really exist, but here's another example of installing a linter

Just to add that I have finally gotten around to installing it (via pip) and integrating it into emacs, which was far easier than expected as I already have Eglot installed and working. It has integration into VSCode, Vim, Neovim, Atom and Sublime, so it should work with your editor of choice. So far I'm happy with what it can do and I would def recommend trying it out.
