The antenna and controller need to be updated individually, one major software version at a time. Proceed by going to myworld.leica-geosystems.com and login with the admin account. Select myProducts, and click the unit that needs updating. There, you can see the software version currently installed, and can download the latest version from the Software tab. Proceed by downloading the latest firmware.

The GS16 antenna is different in that it uses a a microsd card rather than a full-size SD.
Apparently, only "Leica SD" cards are supposed to work... But give it a try anyway...
