So I tried to install non-steam game using proton but not through steam, I copied the entire proton to outside steam dir. When I'm using proton for multi disc install, it doesn't whine like "target is busy" so it's pretty good, but sadly the game doesn't run well. When I tried using wine for multi disc install, it complains that the target is busy when I eject the iso. My question is, how does proton wine handle cdrom & eject compared to normal wine?
