System Information (please complete the following information):

  • Steam client version: Steam Client Build Date: Wed, Jul 3 1:38 AM UTC -08:00

  • SteamVR version: beta 2.7.2

  • Distribution: Archlinux

  • lsusb entry for the headset: Bus 001 Device 058: ID 2833:0186 Oculus VR, Inc. Quest 3

  • Steam runtime diagnostics: I could not paste this text under a spoiler because Github refuses to create a post saying it exceeds 65536 characters, so here's a file steam-config.json

  • Steam and SteamVR logs: steam-logs.tar.gz

  • Minidumps: steam-minidumps.tar.gz

Meta Quest 3 does not natively support Linux SteamVR (for that matter I don't think the Quest supports SteamVR as a standalone runtime, requiring Meta's software to support it even on Windows). For that you're going to need a different VR runtime like WiVRn or ALVR
