[BUG] Cant setup room as controller trigger is not detected

Describe the bug
After starting steamvr i need to kill tutor process, and then i can start room setup. (if i dont kill it, it shows Could not start SteamVR Room Setup: Another application was already starting.)
But when i go to step when i need to point to monitor and pull and hold trigger it not recognize it.
I check in controller settings (test binding) and everything works there, but room setup not recognize it. (room setup has proper controllers selected valve index)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Run SteamVr
2. Click on hamburger menu, and select room setup
3. Go to step that says to point to monitor and pull and hold the trigger
4. Point valve index controller to monitor and pull and hold the trigger

Expected behavior
Pull and hold the trigger action is recognized and fill the box so i can continue room setup.

Is your SteamVR or VR game installed on a non-default filesystem (other than /home/youruser)? The games where the trigger does not work for me are in different filesystems. If I move them to $HOME via the property dialog the trigger starts working.
