Description

There is also this issue with Counter-Strike:Source. I have placed the startup music in the media folder, but after starting the game, there is no music. This problem does not exist on Windows.
In-game sound effects can play normally, but the game music cannot.
This issue may also exist on the Steam Deck running SteamOS.

Hello @notavaliablename, the same as ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games#6346, this is most likely libMiles having a hard time with selinux. (#1515)

The recent update worsened the issue for TFC. It will now outright crash when choosing a class, and create a massive log file if console logging is enabled. Said log file almost entirely consists of "MP3 startup failed due, mp3 playback will not be available.", 700,000 times.

Allowing hl_linux execheap access doesn't really seem to fix the problem anymore. I have to switch to the pre-25th anniversary update for it to work.
