Not working export video file in H.265 (HEVC) codec #11624

  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): Redora Rawhide
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: Yes
  • Have you checked for system updates?: Yes
  • Steam Logs: steam-logs.tar.gz
  • GPU: AMD

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Record some video clip and try to export video with H.265 (HEVC) codec.

With H.264 video codec, video can be exported successfully.

I am sure that H.265 (HEVC) codec should work because OBS Studio can record video clips with H.265 (HEVC) codec.

Hello @NTMan, this issue is already being tracked at #11603. Closing in favor of the older issue report.
