Universe Viewer Release is the release stage repository of the Universe Viewer. The Universe Viewer is compatible with the Virtual Universe virtual world grid architecture and other virtual world grid architectures that meet our standards. Code arrives in this repository for final release. When something is committed to this repository it is considered stable and final subject to fixes. Likewise the code in this repository is considered stable and can be used to run a viewer on a production level grid.
The owner of the Virtual Universe Open Source Project Arm is Virtual World Research Inc.
Ownership of code contributed to the Virtual Universe Open Source Project Arm by contributers is owned by it's author. Contributors provide code to the Virtual Universe Open Source Project Arm under the license designated in this project and do so knowing it may be used by the project arm to further enhance and improve the project. All code is provided AS IS.
While you should not run a production grid using the code in the Virtual-Universe-Dev repository, we understand there are those who want to get on the cutting edge of what is coming in Virtual Universe.
