Create non public videos and deal with user groups

How it works

What defines whether a video is public or not is the group of users associated with it.

If a video has no associated user group, it means that this video is public.

If you have one or more associated groups the video will cease to be public and only the users who are also part of this group will be able to view the videos.

Add a video to a User Group

chrome-capture (4)

To associate a video with a group of users, you must go on the editing screen of this video and in the editing window uncheck the public option, below this option will be listed the groups of users available.

Category User Group

You can specify 1 or more user groups to a category.

If you select one or more user groups, the video you associate with this category will be automatically private and only users from those user groups will be able to play the video.
