I did some tests with the Firefox developer tool. I used the analysis for the first page load, because I have problems at that point, then the site is fast.

The Firefox developer tool confirmed that your plugin slows down the site.

I missed this one. Can you share an image in imgur, if possible, please? I'm not surprised on the first load but the caching should kick in after that and hold across the site.
