The function keys did not change their function and it messed up my touchpad. In the Mouse and Touchpad settings, the touchpad has to be set to "Enabled" and not "Disabled when mouse is attached". Can you add a list of supported operating systems and operating systems that it has issues on or does not work? I am running Linux Mint Cinnamon based on Ubuntu.

I have a similar issue on my Samsung Chromebook Go running Manjaro Cinnamon: My function keys work after running the script, but the touchpad refuses to work if it's set to "disabled when mouse is attached." Setting it to "enabled" fixes it, though I'd prefer to not have to toggle this setting manually every time I use a mouse.

This is due to keyd always creating a virtual mouse. I am not aware if it is possible to disable this function.
