Changelog:

• Fixed a bug where the updater accidentally adds the current patcher version to the URL, rendering it not able to actually download the new updated patcher version.
• Fixed some formatting issues with some text

For macOS and Linux users

You need to launch the patcher in the Terminal and give it executable permissions first. Use these commands:

• To change permissions:
  chmod +x WiiLink_Patcher_macOS_v1.1.2h2 or chmod +x WiiLink_Patcher_Linux-<arm64 or x64>_v1.1.2h2
• To run the patcher:
  ./WiiLink_Patcher_macOS_v1.1.2h2 or ./WiiLink_Patcher_Linux-<arm64 or x64>_v1.1.2h2

(Replace <arm64 or x64> with the architecture you're on if you're on Linux)

Make sure you are in the same directory as the patcher in the Terminal!

You can also change the permissions with a graphical file manager.

Changelog:

• Temporarily changed URLs to some files that relied on being hosted from @PablosCorner's website, as it went down. Those files will be moved to a more permanent location soon.
• New experimental arm64 build, for those that are using Linux on arm64 architecture.
• Implemented a fix for SD/USB storage detection erroring out on Steam Deck, Chromebooks, and Arch Linux (in general).
• Implemented a version checker, to see if a new version of the patcher has been released (will be the case when v1.1.3 gets released).

• Everybody Votes Channel release!
  • Our Everybody Votes Channel revival has been released! If you previously used the RiiConnect24 version, you will need to use EVC Transfer Tool to save your previous poll results.
• Wii Mod Lite has been replaced with YAWM ModMii Edition, since it's a simpler to use WAD installer.

Upcoming:

• Localizations will be made for the WiiLink Patcher so that it can be used with more languages! This will come in a future minor update. In the meantime, only English is supported.

Usage instructions for macOS and Linux users:

This requires the use of your OS's Terminal! If you've never used it before, please search for how to use commands like cd, chmod, etc. so you understand how they work.

1. Open the Terminal application on macOS or Linux.
2. Navigate to the directory containing the patcher file using the cd command:
   cd /path/to/directory
3. Make the patcher file executable based on your system:
   • For macOS:
     chmod +x WiiLink_Patcher_macOS_v1.2.1
   • For Linux, replace <arm64 or x64> with your system's architecture:
     chmod +x WiiLink_Patcher_Linux-<arm64 or x64>_v1.2.1
4. Run the patcher using the appropriate command:
   • For macOS:
     ./WiiLink_Patcher_macOS_v1.2.1
   • For Linux, replace <arm64 or x64> with your architecture:
     ./WiiLink_Patcher_Linux-<arm64 or x64>_v1.2.1

Ensure you're in the same directory as the patcher file when executing these commands. If you prefer, you can also adjust file permissions through a graphical file manager.
