Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I choose to merge 4 (sub-genre sorted) playlists into one master playlist. In this I'm running into the problem these 4 playlists are beïng added without any form of shuffle trackwise.

For example: My playlist with 10 bass-house tracks are placed in order, after those 10 bass-house tracks my classical-house tracks are placed in order etc. It would be awesome to add an option to randomly shuffle all tracks in your master playlist after merging. This also keeps things fresh as every update or scan new tracks will be showed on top.

Besides the above there is one more thing I run into: the first 10 tracks in your playlist are KEY. Choose your best 10 tracks to trigger people to follow your playlist, those are the first tracks one sees or hears. It would be awesome to add an option to choose what 10 tracks (or playlist, one can make a 10-track playlist called something like: top 10 list which will be placed on top, overrulling a shuffle as described above) will be on top of your master playlist. This kind of control would make this app perfect to me and I'm sure more people will make use of it.

Describe the solution you'd like
2 switch buttons:

  1. Shuffle mode
  2. Top 10 playlist selection

I'm sure that's a typo? heh.

Thanks for the suggestion. You're not the first to ask for a shuffle... see #22. That being said I'll keep this as a request for top 10 select. I'm not sure how I would set that in the interface... The nice thing with intellimerge is that you can do most of the managing in spotify directly and only change things on intellimerge when you change your mind about settings. I will keep this as an open request for now though.

Regarding the top 10 select and setting an option like that in the interface:

Maybe one should just be able to flag or select one of the link playlist(s) to be shown on top of the master playlist.

For the technical process I think this flagged/ selected playlist should be merged as last (the last added/ chosen link playlist while selecting these all together in your master playlist settings will end up on top in your master playlist, right?) in the process.

Speaking of just 10 tracks might be unnecessary and overcomplicate things in this case (again I'm no programmer, just brainstorming). If someone wants to put a link playlist with.. let´s say 100 tracks on top, this only means that specific playlist has to be last of all link playlists to be merged into the master playlist to end up above the others, right?

I've added interface inspiration in the attachment: A checkbox or special tab to choose your TOP-list while picking or editing your link playlists.

I'll stop sharing my thoughts about this for now as you are busy enough. Good luck with what you're working on!
