Please describe in as much detail as possible what new feature you want:

Autodetecting site encodding (issue 2720 fixed), but it seems that the same problem is with "comming soon", and maybe other.

There is a free java lib which can be used: http://code.google.com/p/juniversalchardet/

If you can.

I know that you are more concerned by V3 now, but please ...

There is another port in Java of the mozilla "Universal Charset Detection" routine, it is called jChardet, here: http://jchardet.sourceforge.net/
