hey, if you're forcing people to use ortholinear and 5 rows high bc its more ergonomic, why not go all the way? the point of making it not split by default is space savings, but there NO reason to not put the clicky LED displays in the middle, separating the two halves. You'd just have to move it to the left side of the ride half. We're not silly monkey's who don't know how to touch type and can't properly keep our fingers where they should be. this would also allow both hands easy access to the OLED display. I propose 2 versions, one with displays in middle and one with them on the right side. Or you could make the displays a separate module, and allow them to go in between, or left or right side... 🤔
ps i really love the flat design, low profile keys, ortholinear... etc its a cool project!

Zach stated in the update video that the display will be kicked off into its own module, and the two haves will change to a singular ortholinear module.
