The Reminders, Heart Rate and Localization Release

New Features

  • Reminders have been added! There is now the option to remind every 2, 4, or 6 hours, or not at all.
  • Watches with heart rate monitors should now be able to have the option of seeing their heart rate on the main menu. There is an option to show steps or heart rate for these watches.
  • Localization! ¡Breathe habla español! Et il aussi le français. Settings pages and text in the app shows in the watch language.

Issues and Plans

  • Based on feedback, change when to inhale and when to exhale.

The Modules Release

New Features

  • The minutes breathed today text has been updated, and actually now persists across closing the app and reopening it.
  • Behind the scenes improvements (graphics have been pushed to separate module).

Issues and Plans

  • Add heart rate integration. Better understand how the Health API works before this can happen.
  • Add reminders to breathe throughout the day. Breathing is good for not dying.

The "Sketchy Health Integration" Release

New Features

  • Health integration. The top text field now displays how many steps the user has taken today.
  • Reworked bottom text. Now it says "Today: x min".

Issues and Plans

  • Add heart rate integration. Better understand how the Health API works before this can happen.
  • Further modularization. I'm hoping that I will be able to separate out some of the graphics, but that will take time.
  • Add reminders to breathe throughout the day. Breathing is good for not dying.
