Same as above. I tested it out for a month or so and was happy with the free options. Now I am ready to purchase because I need several tutorials and video downloader does not work. The ICON stays WHITE on youtube. Works on other sites. Not going to purchase until I know it will work.

You should read my response in #1756. My experience with your Beats Review video was the same as my experience in #1756. Except for the well-known problem that has been reported here many times recently, that the audio track was German. However, I corrected that minor glitch using the technique I explain in detail in #1707.

I hope this helps. I can download from Bing and other locations but not from YouTube. I hope this can be resolved because I would like to purchase the app.

To all of you trying to download videos from youtube :

• if the icon is not active only on youtube.com , then the latest version of the extension is working properly
• to mitigate the problem , open new InPrivate window , then paste the link of the video you want to download
• if the icon of the extension is active , while you are not logged in your youtube account , then the problem is not in the extension
• if you want to be able to download youtube videos , while you are logged into your youtube account , then you must block certain code from executing in your browser and also delete certain cookies for youtube.com

P.S. I can't tell you which exactly , because then i'll violate the rules . The above hints must be enough , sorry .

I am still trying to follow StreamBG instructions, BUT -- If I search on Videos on BING I can open the video and download it with no problem, even if it is a YouTube video. Makes no sense to me and is cumbersome. Also, unlike YouTube, when I search I do not get the Library like I would logged into YouTube. At least this works but would be difficult to justify the purchase with all the confusion. I really like the way this app works and want to purchase but only if it is working as promised.
