in many cases metadata follows a pattern for example appending an extension (eg. / or .html) to a canonical or appending a | Company Name to a title.
it would be great to have the ability to specify something like

{{title}} | Adobe Blog for a title

or

{{url}}.html or {{url}}/ if the customer CDN provides a URL rewrite.

i think the pattern syntax should be aligned with what we would be using here: #461

can you come up with a list of properties that are valid replacements? or are they just all of the metadata available?
eg.

  • can I have a my-title in my metadata.json, which I can then use in the page-metadata?
  • or a my-title in the 1st row in the page-metadata, that I can then use in the 2nd row?
  • is url the canonncial url?
