Starts playing next story at the time the previous story ended

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add 2 stories to the playlist with the shorter story first
2. Play the first story
3. Observe the second story starting where the previous story ended

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the next story to start at the beginning. I'm seeing it start at the 
time the previous story ended.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
NPR 2.5.1
Android 4.2.2 on a Galaxy S III.

Please provide any additional information below.
I've attached the hopefully relevant logcat to this issue.

Here is a log. It contains a few attempts to find the error, but I eventually 
captured it at the end of the log.
