touch <filename> 
	creates the file
	e.g. command: touch zachary.txt

git init
	initialises new repository

git add -A
	adds all file in working directory to staging area

git add zachary.txt
	adds zachary.txt to staging area

git commit
	commit a change
	e.g. commit -m "First Commit"

git log
	gives the commits you have previously committed
	e.g. git log or git log --oneline

git status
	show the currents status
		red: file is edited but not staged
		green: file has been staged

git diff
	show the difference between staging area and working directory

git clone <url> 
	clone the repo onto local terminal
	e.g. git clone https://github.com/zachylimwl/git_workshop.git

git push
	push to github on the remote repo

git pull
	pull from github to local repo
