Uniform consistency of modal overlays?

I would like to comment on the lack of consistency on the modals for widgets.

For instance, for the calendar widget, you have to click on a date, for the modal overlay to show up.

However, on the torrent widget, you only need to hover.

Meanwhile, the media server widget doesn't even have a modal at all; it shows extra information by expanding downwards.

I feel like there should be uniformity in these modal overlays. Everything should be on click or hover.

I agree with you that we should we use tap instead of hover on downloads. We have to take into account that nowadays a lot of people use mobile and they cannot over stuff.
regarding the date it is a select because you can interact with it. (That’s why it doesn’t go away when you move your mouse)

the media server extra info is just a quick feature, it is not meant to be really used, hence why you need to click to activate it.

Yes. Everything should be click. I agree. The torrent widget should be changed from hover to click.

As for the media server extra info... I know it's click. The problem is that it's not a modal. It's an expansion of the widget itself; which often comes with scroll bars. It should be a modal, like the other widgets.

The media widget's expanded info opens a div in the widget itself. It should instead be a modal like the torrent widget.
