Hey! Is it possible to mock calls to external services?

I am testing my actix server and one of the endpoints uses 3d party API, which I would like to mock.

It is documented here, but I get an error no method named hostfound for structWhen in the current scope. I am trying version httpmock = "0.7.0"

Hi @GlebIrovich . Yes, httpmock can help you with this scenario.

In this scenario, your third-party API client must use the httpmock mock server instead of its original backend endpoint. This can sometimes be achieved by setting the base URL in the client settings.

Alternatively, you could configure httpmock as a proxy server in the client settings. However, this feature is still experimental and may not work with your client if it uses HTTPS, as it is still being stabilized.

The host matcher was introduced in version 0.8.0, which I believe is why you see this error.
