Troubles with settings

Hi. I`am download & install your soft, but I could not understand with settings described in your documentation.

1. I want to change the name of the host (hostname), but soft write me before restart "Access denied"
2. I want to ask permission (sudo) to read, execute, record the current user, but after a reboot, nothing happens.
   Help me understand. I have read all the documentation, did a lot of experiments with the code, but for some reason the changes do not take effect
