Hi

I've been trying to simulate an average of ~5000 reads from ~10000 transcripts.

I set this running at 4pm last night, and it's still running now with only an empty output directory to show for it. Running on 2 cores with 8Gb of RAM.

Any idea if this is normal?

Cheers
Mick

OK, it looks like this was because I set reportcoverage=TRUE.

Removing the parameter gives me some data after only a few minutes

Hi,

I've been having similar memory and time issues running a simulation with reportcoverage = TRUE. Has this been resolved yet?
