Using the same language in multiple locales

Hey community

I can't figure out how to use the same language in multiple locales. A good example of this is running an American and an English webshop, or American and Canadian, or German and Austrian...

In all those cases, the locales are different, as they belong to different markets (en-GB !== en-US) but the string translations (messages files) of interface elements are almost always the same and reused.

It is a very common pattern for e-commerce to to this:

• example.net/en-US/ - English in American market
• example.net/en-GB/ - English in British market
• example.net/en-DK/ - English in Danish market
• example.net/en-EU/ - English in European market
• example.net/en/ - English in ROW market

The docs focus on translations when they talk localisation, and treat locales purely as languages.

Ha, its easy, I just needed to have proper lunch. I modified the i18n.ts file with a simple map that reuses languages across multiple locales <3
