Pico DVI Version #1
Comments
Hi @MickeyDelp - Thanks for the suggestion on linking back to the blog. I have just added the link I would definitely be interested in checking out the version for the DVI sock! |
@andreban here is the DVI version of Doom Fire. As you will see I had to limit the vertical size a bit or it would run out of RAM. It might not do so if it were not built with the -DPICO_COPY_TO_RAM=1 option, but that is the default for the pico-dvi examples because most of them need that. |
Finally checked it out - this is so cool! Have you considered publishing in a Github repo and maybe a blogpost? I don't know much about the DVI bits and would appreciate reading about it. |
The DVI code is not mine. It was written by one of the Pico engineers. Here's the repo: |
Hi, Andre! I stumbled upon your blog post. Very cool bit of code!
BTW, I suggest you link back to your blog in the readme of this repo.
Anyway, I coded up a version for the DVI sock. Looks great on an HDMI monitor. Let me know if you want the code.
