In the document, the "index" keyword is using. This keyword, I guess, coming from ES. For example, in this page, why do not you use directly "Index Item" instead of "Saving New Item". For the reader or API usage side, they do not know ES and its specific terms. They know APISearch application. In my opinion, these keywords should change the new ones. What do you think?

I understand the point.
It's true that ES uses index when has to save something, but the words seems to be even valid without ES, right? I mean, we will never use MySQL instead of ES, nor Redis or any engine like these. But we could use Solr for example, and I would say that, even with Solr, indexing an item makes sense as well :)
