label parameter values to plots #20
Comments
I haven't implemented that yet, but that is a good idea. Are you envisioning labeling the numerical values of the migration rates, relative sizes, etc? Or labeled with the names of the parameters ('m_ij', 'T_B', etc)? |
One issue is that automatic placement of labels can be tricky, and get messy/ugly pretty quickly. I'll give it a try to see how easy it is and to see how it looks, but it might end up being something that is easier to do in illustrator after the fact. |
both the names of the parameters and the numerical values would be helpful. And it'd be super nice to have an option for either. re the difficulty - I'm sure it will be easier for you to play with. But, I could also try playing with it. I just looked through your plotting functions. Looks pretty big! But, I could have a crack at it (in my copious free time) |
The plotting functions get pretty big, yes. Kind of a jumble at the moment! I'll give it a think and play around with some ways to label the plots with parameters over the next few days and keep you in the loop |
Awesome. Sounds good. |
Hey! Nice work!
I was wondering if you already have implemented or if you could implement an option to include labels of the parameter values?
