Allow for population splits to more than two populations

Instead of having to specify intermediate populations, allow splits into more than two populations. This is easy to include in msprime, and moments should also be straight-forward (should check that 1->2, 2->3 is the same as 1->2, 1->3). Will require some rework of the plotting features.
