I see that one issue is closed already, but next branch uses tauri alpha version and v2 branch uses tauri beta version.

tauri v2 is stable now, aptabase should release with v2 stable as well.

Currently my build is failing only because of aptabase,

Let me see what I can come up with. core logic shouldn't change for v2 as far as I understand. Will open a PR soon
