As can be seen from the results, there is a small and statistically
non-significant increment in the decline rates in breast cancer
incidence (beta = 0.085, p = 0.45). In addition to this, we also get to
see that for five countries, while HRT usage declined, this was not
followed by corresponding decline in Breast cancer incidence in those
countries. For these countries, there were increment in the incidence
rates of breast cancer.
Next, we remove data where the decrease in breast cancer were
\textless{} 0, that is where we noted that breast cancer incidence
increased even while the rates of usage of HRT declined.

Selecting only those countries that showed decline in breast cancer
incidence and HRT usage as well shows a sharper decline rate (beta =
0.17, p = 0.06). This was further tested by examining by creating a
binary variable on the basis of the median of the rate of decline
(median percentage for the rate of decline in breast cancer incidence
was 6.3\%, and this was used to classify the countries with decline as
high and low ). Alternatively, using the tertiles (33 rd percentiles,
the countries with different decline rates were classified)

As can be seen, for countries that registered more than 6\% decline in
the breast cancer incidence, the decline in HRT usage was 60.2 percent,
nearly twice that of the countries with relatively smaller rate of
decline in breast cancer incidence.

As can be seen, the decline in HRT usage was around 67\% for the country
with over 10\% decline in breast cancer decline, while for countries
where the decline in breast cancer was less than 4\%, there was a
decline in HRT usage of around 24\%; together, these findings suggest
that with progressive decline in HRT usage, there were corresponding
decline in breast cancer incidence as well. This was examined in the
plot below.
