<p>There are ~100 open issues in the D8 issue queue related to the WSCCInitiative.</p>
<p>Some issues we personally encountered:</p>

<li>Entities POSTed are not associated with the UID that posted them.</li>
<li>Permisions are funny right now and don't always do what we expect.</li>
<li>Creating a node via POST does not return any data about the created entity. (i.e. UUID, or NID)</li>
<li>Imagefield support currently doesn't exist in a meaningful way. (<a href="https://drupal.org/node/1927648">https://drupal.org/node/1927648</a>)</li>
<li>FileField support is available, but still doesn't work entirely as expected.</li>
<li>User entities are currently unstable with REST interaction</li>
