How can we improve the documentation?

I am not sure if I understand it right, but in the guide (https://asdf-vm.com/guide/getting-started.html#_2-download-asdf) is recommended to clone the repository, but then if I try to do asdf update it tells me to download the binary or install with a package manager which I think is a contradiction:

Upgrading asdf via asdf update is no longer supported. Please use your OS
package manager (Homebrew, APT, etc...) to upgrade asdf or download the
latest asdf binary manually from the asdf website.

Hi @alex1712, this issue is a duplicate of #1824. I'm hoping to merge #1826 and release the new Go version this week. I've got a few issues with the release process I need to iron out, hopefully won't be much longer.
