When specifying a version for install_requires dependencies, those specified versions are not reflected in the created package. The package was created using the standard bdist_deb command. Am I doing something wrong or is this an open issue?

Addition:
It seems that a pydist file must be generated to have versioned python requirements for dh_python2. Is there some facility in stdeb to generate this file? What is the standard way to get versioned "Depends:" in the control file?
