Describe the bug
The version v0.40.2 published 2days ago is presenting some issue, and not sending traces to x-ray
Screenshot

Steps to reproduce
Deploy a side-card container with public.ecr.aws/aws-observability/aws-otel-collector:v0.40.2

What did you expect to see?
Trace sent to X-Ray

What did you see instead?
Nothing sent

Environment
Describe any aspect of your environment relevant to the problem.
If this is related to a deployment of the ADOT Collector please
provide your Collector config file.

I'm using the default configuration from the container image, the only other parameter I've set is

"OTEL_RESOURCE_ATTRIBUTES","aws.log.group.names=XYZ"

Additional context
Add any other context about the problem here.

Hi @ulili5 unless you are passing your own ADOT collector config I would presume you are using the default.

Could you share how you are running the collector eks, ecs, locally etc?

In the case of ECS it would be https://github.com/aws-observability/aws-otel-collector/blob/main/config/ecs/ecs-default-config.yaml which could explain the error you have highlighted as that is an XRAY receiver.
